Equipment Marketers enjoyed a successful turnout for its 20th annual Commercial Laundry Trade Show and Service Seminar, which was recently held at the company’s headquarters in Cherry Hill, N.J. Themed “New World in Laundry,” this event clearly showed store owners and potential investors alike why laundry has truly entered a new world.

From offering seminars on owning and operating laundry equipment to having Maytag Commercial representatives on hand displaying the latest technologies available, the show provided valuable information to all in attendance.

Maytag’s Connect 360º - a wireless, cloud-based software system for complete end-to-end management of a laundry – was showcased at this year’s event. The system enables store owners to remotely audit income, machine usage and service issues – as well as change prices whenever and from wherever. The Connect 360º system also sends instant notification when a machine needs maintenance and more. Maytag’s new high-efficiency topload washer also was on display during the show.

The show featured educational seminars on servicing laundry equipment and card systems – and technicians were on hand for one-on-one service advice with machines in the company’s Red Carpet Service Area. In addition, Coin Laundry Association President and CEO Brian Wallace spoke to show attendees about ways to control sewer and water costs in a self-service laundry setting. Other seminars included reducing insurance costs and claims, and peer-to-peer discussions.

More than 25 exhibitors of laundry products displayed their newest offerings, featured special pricing for the day and donated prizes to the event.

What’s more, international food stations and entertainers kept attendees networking with each other throughout the day. Some of the show’s door prizes included televisions, computer tablets and two Maytag frontload washers.

Founded in 1945, Equipment Marketers designs and develops Maytag Commercial Equipped Laundromats throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
